IMO. European economy goes very dangerouse way.

1. Too heavy social obligations
2. Too high taxes
3. EU depends on resiurces like NG from Russia
4. They get resources from country with unstabil regime, and they help Russian authoritar regime!
5. Germany goes to discontinue nuclear power plants and build NG power plants with imported from Russia gas!
6. Wages and taxes is EU is so hight that big companies build plants in China.
7. Migration from Africa may destroy France and Italy.

Europeans made accelerating valves, ABS, EBS, disk brakes. EBS + disk brakes appeared in Europe in 1996. And 15 years later US truck makers introduce it like a greate innovation!!!!

ABS was standard in early 90-s in EU.

ECAS is widly used in Europe from end of 80-s. In the USA it is rare.

 

Are ebs and disc brakes widely used in the US and do they use retarders? I've never seen them mentioned on tests
