This should not be considered a list of everything but since installing the updated on my 500 I now have.

Cure warnings, steep hill warnings, mile markers on the main screen, and of course updated maps.

I had personally turned in several map corrections and as far as I can tell they have all been updated. The update was easy to install.

They should have installed on the internal flash. So, a complete backup should copy them also.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Maps are main core map updates, plus truck attributes.

New maps will give you sharp curve/steep hill, Mile Marker, truck services.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Mark...

And now for a breath of fresh air!

My 510 works just fine... to the limits of the accuracy of the database. It does a good enough job, but then again I'm not someone who can't read a map. When it's routing conflicts with my decisions, I just add vias until it's happy about how I WANT to be routed.

    Great experience... workin' fine.

I don t want to make it seem like I am a complainer, but I have to say that my gps has been seeming to get screwier and screwier with each update- I think the one thing that bugs me the most actually infuriating is when for whatever reason I miss my turn or stop it tells me to make a u turn if possible, well- jeeze- you don't think that if I could make a u turn when I go past something I would ? a semi with a 53 ft trailer is not a bicycle- and yes I have avoid u turns in preferences

Hint, if you tap on the map screen it will take you to another screen, zoom out and then drag the map around till you see the way you want to be routed... lay the green "+" on the road and at the bottom of the screen you will see "add via".

zooming out just allows you to move around the USA a little faster, then zoom in to see the details of where you want to add the Via.

    thanks,
    Mark

You ought to see them on I-77 x 42... they take the wrong exit out of the truck stop and actually make a U-turn at the light...

I'll bring that up... U-turn to avoid should not give you a announcement.

    Thanks,
    Mark

So I take it that there hasn't been another update since the last one screwed everything up?
