Stopped in a few times at the Jane Lew truck stop. Was running military wire loads from Middletown NY to Lexington Kentucky. Doing a blistering 34 miles per hour up and down those grades. Definately not a great place for a 10 speed! Calex advertising on craigslist if anyone is interested. Look under craigslist Hudson Valley.

Everything is good Johnboy. Glad to hear you are doing well and still trucking. Tell Mort and Joe I said Hi for me. I miss driving, but enjoy being with the family everynight. I wont say I'll never get in a truck again, but it definitly won't be untill the kids are moved out. Be safe!!! keep the rubber on the blacktop

Monroefiredog1, the fridge probably doesn't work. If it doesn't go on when you turn it on, then it's busted, and they won't fix it

The Jane Lew is old, but they have a little bit of everything in that little truck stop. I have stayed there many times over the last 2 years. Never had much of a problem with the roller coaster hills. My automatic 387 pete took the hills good even with the 78,000lb loads of wood pellets I pulled out of WV up to NY

Jersey01, nice country out by you as well, hauled alot of loads to a packing company right off 23 in Sussex. Jane Lew was a little spooky at 0300, quite an assortment of characters!
