Kind of curious why banking needs to be done on the road.
Owner or Lease operators, I can understand.
Almost everybody takes plastic.
Just leave home with a couple hundred, stashed in various places.
What banks do you all see more of?

You and I are of the same mind
I feel that the 2-party system is a major reason this country is in trouble as the parties can never agree on anything without appearing to 'defect' to the other side
So what!
I think right now that's what I have to do. I'm easygoing (unless someone gets me riled, but I hold it in) and kinda shy in public.
I agree... the problem is getting them 'politically active' at the same time
We have online banking... they have talked about charging for the free accounts if you don't meet certain requirements (so many direct deposits a month, I think). Well, I'm unemployed so I have no deposits
May have to close that one.
No problem... happens all the time
Have a great week(end)

Hiyas...
I don't plan on having to use a branch, but if something did happen and I _had_ to visit one (say I lost my check-card?), I'd want to find one real quick if they need proof of my ID or something.
If I had a couple of hundred I wouldn't be in the boat I'm in now
Thanks and have a great week(end)

I hear ya,
Good Luck !! -
I think that's the key post here. The main thing is to avoid ATM fee's as they'll eat you alive. Use a bank/CU with the best option or utilize cash back which has no fee's. We live in a world of plastic and computers. Or do like numbers and do the cash stash.
I seen one guy that stuck in my mind. He got paid on his Comdata card. He had a nice payday like $1500 and he was at the fuel desk cashing FIVE comdata checks at the tune of 3% each. There was a $300 limit. That's $45 that guy just threw away. Some just don't have money sense.
I threw him an idea and he said, "I don't care". -
Ally Bank has no minimum, no fees, and refunds ATM fees. Also returns about 1.04% which will prolly be going up soon along with all other interest rates. If you ever lose a bank card, you won't be able to get it replaced at the bank anyhow. It will be mailed to you.
