Well does Prime use the SSA and/or the IRS for employment verification, or do they just contact your employers?

Once you get done with training how long do you have to wait for a truck when you go solo?

Also, are the classes set to a certain number of students?

 

I've been thinking about coming to prime for 3 years now and i think im finally going to do it. From what I've been reading they have a very good training program. Now I already have my class B cdl, so would it be easier for me to go and get my class A permit before going to training/orientation? Also I live in Philly and from the other Prime thread i saw that they have alot of NE runs, would it be easy for me to get alot of runs in the NE or does it goes by what freight is out there?.. thanks

 

Oh and how does the BMI thing work there? I havent read anything on PRIME's website but on other threads I saw some people got cut loose because of it..

 

They get your weight and height, and the ratio spits out your BMI. If it's over a certain number, the evaluation goes further. I don't remember what the BMI threshold is, but it might be 30.

 

uhh ohh.. when i checked i think i was 38. but im healthy besides being "obese".. welp i guess we will se how this goes.. thanks..

 

Are you sure? I made a thread asking about this in the Newbie section and was told by several people that it was just phone calls to listed employers.
