You are wrong about the laws being so strict about "drinking and driving".....nowhere in the Law does it state that you must drive after you drink (alcohol). You have the ability to hire someone to drive you wherever you want to go after consumption of alcohol. Ever heard of a Taxi, or bus, or calling a sober friend?

But I think the blood alcohol level for drunk driving should be higher. I have no problem with someone driving after a couple beers, no problem whatsoever.

I think most are missing the guys point here. We all know, including him, that it's a bad thing to drink and drive. It's down right stupid. But what's he's saying is he's being held accountable for his job and well-being when he was no where around it. The people he referenced do not have the same standards. We have people in high office in the government that can run off a bridge and kill a girl and still go to work. So I can see his point. On the same issue the law is going to crucify a person that smokes weed 30 days ago and gets into an accident and places blame on the drugs when we all know the drugs are long gone out of the system. Is it fair? No. Is it the law? Yes. It boils down to what is right and wrong. Lets make it fair for everyone and have the same punishment for all.
