Good luck with your hours, I always hated when I got short, and was still trying to run and make some miles...

Got unloaded in about 15 minutes, got to love those big paper rolls for unloading times. Picking up just down the road in Appleton but the load won't be ready until around 2200 which is fine as I only had one hour left. Going to Cherokee, IA. Perhaps will be able to make it tomorrow but it would be tight. Doesn't deliver until the morning of Thursday so plenty of time and I will start to get back some bigger hours then.

Well decided to go for the old reset after weighing the pros and cons. The major con is I won't be leaving here until 1930 and driving in the wee hours to get to customer and potentially putting me back on the graveyard cycle again but hopefully the extra hours gained for the next 7 days will outweigh that. Just wish I had brought a couple of books with to pass the time as this FMCSA book is getting pretty boring:)

There has to be somewhere you could buy a book to read, or download one... Have fun on your reset, I always hated sitting, I always tried to get laundry done, clean the truck out, that kind of stuff, to make the time go by. I was usually stuck in Marshfield doing a reset, so at least I had wheels and stuff to do.

This is a trucking forum, not a religion debate forum. Those are out there if you wanna do that. We believe what we want to and debating here I doubt will change the other person's mind. PM each other if you want that to continue and lets get back to trucking.

There is a place to discuss religion on here. Please us it. What we believe is what we believe, and we should debate it in the proper place.

Well just witnessed a huge accident near Atalissa, IA. Some big rigs and a motorcycle at least. Bodies on the road and in the ditch. Ambulances and the police were just getting there about the time I was reaching scene so I continued on as there seemed to be sufficient folks to take care of things. Stopped at Walcott although I had about 4 more hours I could drive. I wanted to get through the I-80 mess under cover of darkness but just didn't have enough left in the tank for another 3 hours. Got a good load of cat food heading toward Allentown. Probably a d/h that isn't due until Sunday but going to try and get it off early Saturday.
