the road pro makes a great paper weight. but not a good inverter. I had a 1500 watt road pro. POS is what it turned out to be. so I can say that and be honest. cobra is a little better. I would hold off on buying one from the pilot or flying J. check with some of the cb shops first! to see what they have to offer in power inverters. chances are. you will get a better inverter from a shop that is going to sell better quality and know more about your needs as far as power inverters. plus the honor the warranty on the product better then the truck stops every will.

we've had both, we are hard on invertors fridg, 1100w mirco, tv, dvd computers, forman grill, printer, and more..... so our invertor works in our truck. both the cobra or road pro last us about 2 years. the cobra is a little more money and MAY BE a little better.

right now we have a cobra and we keep a new road pro in the side box.. (we got a killer deal on the road pro) the reason we have the road pro is not if but when the cobra dies.

I had a spare.....the one that quit working the morning I wanted my coffee!!!!....now it's sitting at the house waiting to get looked at but it's about 20 years old so I probably should just get me another one to have as a spare.

I would like to say that we are getting in our 34 at our delivery, but we are may be getting it about 20 miles south of our pick up........................it was 128 miles from North East, PA, to Brockport, PA, and they sent us through the Allegany National Forest along a two lane, winding, hilly road that took us 4 hrs (tried to come here along I79 and I80, which was only 20 miles more, but was told "No").....got there an hour after they closed up for the weekend so we just came on down to the Pilot on I80 and stopped at 0100 this morning...........so right now we are sitting and may, or may not, be here on Monday when we will go get loaded and then head for Imlay City, MI..........needless to say it won't get there by 1300......LOL

Your fault for asking for permission. They pay you for the shortest route so I would take it unless they want to pay for the extra miles

We broke down at the pumps yesterday, shut the truck off to fuel and it would not start. Wrecker company came out and pop start truck. Recieved message from breakdown not to shut down truck until we got to Irving. E
We went and did are pickup in La to deliver in Ft.Collins, Co. We stopped in Irving and now we are down till Tuesday at the latest. They are going to try and sneak us in tonight. We have been smelling rotten egg smell getting in and out of drivers door. According to the shop here they have changed 200 batteries already. I hope they can get us in tonight. This has been a bad week between are 6 day oil change in Shippensburg. Was curious if anyone else with a new truck have had problems? We have 42,000 on.
