if you drive for a o/o you either get good pay lousy trucks or good trucks lousy pay.

i like the ones who get you driving the same day you take your drug test.

I always liked the ones that wanted to know if you were ready to leave right then, and handed you the keys. I've talked to the owner on the phone, picked up their truck, and never met them until a week or so later to get paid.

I've driven for a couple of O/O's who paid good and had good reliable equipment AND had it fixed when something happened! Yes, there are a few good owners out there. It's just finding one that's the problem, as they are like trying to get on at Wal-Mart or Kraft. You have to wait for a driver to die before a spot opens!

    Do this math!
Salinas,Ca to NYC by PC Miler practical routing is 3013 miles.
he wants to pay you $250??? This is a Joke? Right? You're just doing this to get a knee jerk reaction? Ok heres MY Knee Jerk reaction!!

The best I can come out with is a whopping .083 CENTS A MILE! Thats EIGHT CENTS!

PLEASE Someone pick my silly old arse off the floor from laughing my arse off, peeing in my pants and passing out from lack of oxygen!

Now go look at that link and see what the rates have jumped up to! Fantistic!

I don't think you need a calculator or spreadsheet to see how bad that deal was!!! Not to mention, no record of pay= no record of experience
