One guy told me.....now keep in mind it's been a few years ago. that he was there...............when it comes time to get on the Trailer...he said they had ladders next to the wall and one could use them....they wanted to see if anyone had enough sense to use one.....any truth in that...????

I would not have let them contact my current company. They are not guaranteeing you a job, yet you could get fired for looking.

There are ways they can verify your employment without talking to them.

This is true...........But we are down 1 service tech right now....and have been since last Oct...they can't even find one worth Hiring now to replace Him........that leaves us with only 2 in our shop.....no way one can do the work .and if they hired one....it will take at least 6 to 8 months for him to learn enough to work on his own.....Now if they find out they won't like it....and will prob have something to say about it....but won't fire me....my recruiter told me they had to verify my Employment to be able to go onto the next step....I asked them if there was anyway they could not....but he stated it was part of the hiring procedure....So I was told....If it's meant for me to have this Job..... GOD will open all the doors.....if Not it will not happen....

You should be able to verify employment with a pay stub. Sound like it's too late now. As for the trailers they do have ladders set up to use. You never climb on or jump off a trailer. What Jim is talking about is a part of the abilities test where you have to get on top of a box thats 5' tall.
