Texas is a stickler for the reflective tape on mudflaps. Hubby got a warning 4 years ago about this. You can buy the tape and stick it to the mud flaps or buy the reflective "bars" and bolt them on to the top where the mudflap attaches. Hubby removed his light bars, because of this reason. Seems DOT doesn't like the light bars, and prefers the normal mounts with the reflective bars.
In reading what scalemaster posted, though, one does hang down a little on one side and is not perfectly horizontal, so I suppose they could nail him on that as well.![]()

There was a poster a while ago who had an all yellow Pete I think. He stated he did not nor would not ever put the reflectors on it.
I guess they are going to be enforcing this now. -

dear iamdot, I'm luckychop. I have a question for you, I was employed by a trucking company after three years off the truck under the condition that I complete the testing schedule required by my SAP evaluator three years prior to that after failing a random test for THC. The problem is, I now have a refusal to test on my record due to not being able to provide a urine sample after three hours. I went to see the MRO on my own, (my employer did not call the MRO as they should have), & he would not determine that there was anything physiologically wrong with me, but did drug test me at his office, which was clean. That was a week after being pulled off duty. The next week after that I was fired from my job. I called my SAP evaluator & was told that she could not help me & that she would have to start a whole new case on me, like I had never been there before. I know that this is not right according to the D.O.T. officer I spoke to, (I live in california). I need some serious help, I don't know who to talk to or where to go for help with this. This is not my fault, I tried to urinate & just couldn't. I have nothing to hide, I have been clean for over four & a half years since I failed my random test. Is there a legal venue I can plead my case to? I NEED HELP, PLEASE HELP ME.

Can I get fined by DOT for storing piss in a bottle? If so, is that why the bottles are thrown out the window?
