Well I got my load traded after having to drive 70 miles through rush hour Atlanta traffic and am left with a dirty trailer with less than 1/2 tank of fuel. Gee, thanks...

 

Im still in New Mexico waiting to get a load, I am 3 hrs away from a fresh 70 though!

 

well I just got a load, picking up some taters in Colorado tomorrow and going to Walmart in OK

Yeah its not bad when you can get a fresh 70 AND get paid layover pay for doing it too!

I could head that way tonight but I really have no desire to drive through the mountains at night when I have plenty of time to do it in the daylight tomorrow!

Pull into the TA on I-44 exit 46 in Mo, pull up to the fuel island, before i could get out of the tractor, this guy in a TA shirt starts to fuel my tractor. I asked him what was up, he said his family ownes this TA and every now and then they help truckers fuel, this is there way of seeing what is going on and to show thier appericitation for stopping here. fueled both the tractor and reffer. Could get use to this.

I am so glad that you said something about not getting the miles. My husband was going to ask about getting western region also, but it does no good being close to home if you do not have any money.

 

Yea I started the same time your husband did . I got put on then I didn't know till I got back from home time and started to run nothing but bananas out of san Diego to Utah . That's all I mainly do Hyrum to grocery stores and some DC then I find my self Grabbing a load back to Utah. If they get their act together and raise the pay it would not be bad. But I don't see that coming so that's why I'm trying to get back OTR .

 

Every day I think more and more that I shoulda waited for foxfire to be my trainer because the one I have now is Jus terrible.... What kind of trainer be littles their student at every mistake they make? Mind you I'm fresh out of school and I know trucking is serious business but Jesus come on...... I may miss a gear and have to goose it just a tad to get it to fall in and there he goes shaking his head making disapproving sounds under his breath, like he's never missed a gear ever! Seriously? And when he drives he skips and misses and scratches too, at times worst than me! I wish I would have waited. As we speak he is talking about running teams..... This was my third day driving for the company and he is talking about running teams?...... Would be cool to have a trainer that has been with the company longer than me.... He is used to running outlaw, on paper logs... HOS mean nothing to this guy.... He Jus made me go over on my 14 just to get to this ts in Iowa.... I know, I was the one driving, but had I stopped at the rest area like I started to, he would #####ed at till no end and I have already gotten tired of his mouth.

This is my own #### fault. What I get for not wanting to spend a week or longer at that #### motel..... There are 2 reasons why I haven't called in in this guy and ask for a different trainer.... 1 I don't want to get fired from my first trucking job. 2 I heard no one will want to train me if I call in in this guy. But man I can't take it. Today he got pissed at me for driving in 2nd gear at a ts "this ain't no f ing leisure cruise man!" No joke? But u weren't worried about that when u spent 15 min Jus talking shooting the #### with other drivers AFTER we picked up our loaded trailer and were rdy to go. Seriously? The extra seconds I spend going in 2nd around the ts is gonna make that big a difference? Really? I CANNOT TAKE IT 5+ weeks of this #### all day long? No way in Hell..... I swear the next time he pops off at me..... When I get angry at someone I usually don't do anything about but this guy man..... I can't even make a proper post I'm soo frustrated right now.... I don't know what to do guys..... Will JBS fire me if I ask for a different trainer? Preferably one that had been with the company longer than I have? Plz help........
