Well now, let's just check this out. I'm out on the street here, and I see a woman passing by, so I will attempt to interview her, and ask her this question.

"Excuse me, ma'am. I'm conducting a short survey here. It is only two questions.
First question is, 'Do you like truck drivers?'
Second question is, 'Are you a woman?'"

    Interviewee; "Get screwed, weirdo!"

There you have it ladies and gentelmans, right from your man on the street! We now return you to our regular line of BS!

It all depends on your attitude. If you act like an idiot than expect to get an idiot.

There was this couple that just got married. They got up to the room and the guy takes his pants off and throws them to her and says "try to wear those". She says "I can't" he says " That's right and don't ever forget that". She takes off her panties and throws them to him and says "try those" he says I can't get into them" and she says that's right and that's the way it's going to stay until you change your attitude.

Married 27 years and proud of it.

    To the original question:

I'm all woman and a handful and a half at that. Therefore, my opinion is relevant here.

I do not choose men based on profession. I choose men based on attraction. Period. I haven't been in the market for anything steady, although I did have "something" for a while. Until I got tired of the BS. But I digress.

There are a lot of women shallow enough to consider something as simple as profession a good enough reason to part their thighs. Yes, there are some turned on by big trucks. Not sure whether you would want to take a chance with your health like that, though. If she's turned on by your big truck, you are certain to have not been the first.

Getting into a profession just to meet women is kind of lame. Especially a profession like this one. This job requires a stronger commitment than many understand. If you are not prepared to make that commitment, best find something else. Most of the guys out here don't have time or energy for the effort of parting a woman's legs. They're too tired at the end of the day and can only think of getting some dinner and going to bed. Alone. For sleep.

If you are of the impression that you would have a life out on the road, you are sadly mistaken. You will find that you are in a sleeper truck and no sense in spending what little bit of spending money you have on motels. The 34 hour restart is about to get changed and when you do have down time, the last thing you will have on your mind is chasing after women. You will have paper work to do and meals to eat and sleep to catch up on so you can head back out. It's not the life of Riley you think it is out here.
If you want to meet women you might beb better off staying where you are doing what you are.

OMG!! When I was laid off collecting unemployment, my dad would call me up every week and ask if I was still living the life of Riley. I'd never heard that before and haven't heard it since. He passed away before I got the chance to ask who this Riley fella was. Man, I haven't thought about dad in a while. Thank you dbldipp.
