From my understanding this wont be tolerated for too long! You have to report it and the driver who left it will be disciplined and/or terminated, but what it sounds like if it was preloaded at a shipper then it was the YardDog not a ROOKIE driver who left it that way...just my opinion!

Just finished Orientation 08/18/11 and WE were told "layover" pay is ONLY $40....

Just letting you know what we are being told in orientation.... Maybe it is being "bumped" DOWN like the trainers pay from $250 to .02/mi....I was there when Tom was leaving to have that meeting and make that change...didn't go over to well....trainers threatened to stop training so they "grandfathered" them and all new trainers are at and will be at .02/mi extra ......

Just saying, I "learned" alot in my 3 days in Greeley, Co LOL!!! :biggrin_25514:

New drivers where told out was 100 til this week.....apparently
The idiot teaching was confused with breakdown pay......there is talk of raising it to 75.....before you start explaining what is happening here you may want to spend some time here..........we are on a time of change right now and alt will change in the short term I have been here since they opened there doors......so don't assume you know anything yet...just just saying

You will be stretched and bend right, left, front, and back....You will have a complete physical and then be drug screened, then your pulse and blood pressure will be measured constantly while you perform strenuous activities which include lifting 30, 60, and 90 pounds... 30, 60, and 90 pounds from floor to waist level and then 30, 60, and 90 pounds from waist to shoulder height.. It's NOT as bad as you think and they do NOT try to fail you.....

I really dont understand how this test works, I mean doing any activity seems like ur blood pressure would go up. Is there a limit on how high it should go up while doin activities or is it not suppose to go up at all. Ive never done anything where they constantly took my bp not even for the military so im a little curious.

wow....3 days and your telling us what is what...the whole trainer thing is old old news....the new pay for trainers has been in place for months......if you where told anything diffrent you where directly lied to.....(go figure).....as for the 100 for lay over ....3 weeks of new drivers where told this because the lady doing orientation had no clue what she was doing....she confused brakedown with layover.....although there is talk of raising the lay over rate.....good luck here...keep posting....its good entertainment...:biggrin_25514:
