I haven't been very active for several years. A little 2/440 repeater here in Kansas City.

Before my stroke I used my 2/440 WT in the big rig.

BTW, that Advanced ticket carries allot more weight than the Extra in my opinion.

It's not the class of license it's the class of the HOLDER of that license.

 

I'm not discounting your Extra class Ticket Bruce. I'm just saying that so many Extras are just like Mr. Channel Jumper. The guy is all over the map.

You know if you see an Advanced call, or an old call like yours, the holder earned it.

As a no coder I don't think the Know Code argument has much merit, and there are allot of No Coders who strengthen the knowledge base of this hobby and then there are detriments to the hobby like our Extra Class friend above.

I see you've held your call since 1981. I was issued kc0rey in 2003. I applied for my brothers old Novice call (KA9MOT) in Jan. of 2009 via the Vanity Program and it was issued to me in Feb, 2009.... I've been trying to wear the new off it ever since...LOL

 

I have had THIS call since 1973 .......

 

Ahhhh, I could only follow it back to 1981. Very cool! I was 12 in 1973.
