KylebuschFan Before you jump ship or any thing Call my number 757-812-4850. We need to talk before you make any rash decisions.
And now to address a Few things to some others on here..
First to all you new guys at JBS Welcome aboard.
To the dude who came after me with the GIANTS thing, first I never intended to run him off like Fox said I was only trying to keep the thread on track, My Original Thread on here was closed due to a pissing match between the former Orientation Director and a person on here. So with that Said Giantsfan probably can read this and know I have nothing against the guy, hell he is actually very informative.
Second thing I want to address with the person who jumped on me about this,
That 45 page booklet you were given in Orientation let me be clear to Tell you You are Welcome, Yes I did write that and before anyone comes on here blasting someone it might be a good idea to read this ENTIRE thread, From Page one to the END. No #### read the whole thing.
Then you might find out some of us have been with JBS for some time, Hell I think Foxfire has a single digit employee ID like number 4 or 5 probably, Also make sure we all remember this "be careful of the toes you step on today as they might be attacehd to the ### you have to kiss tomorrow" not saying anyone would have to kiss mine..
But it is a well known fact that there are people at Both JBS Carriers, and JBS Corporate who read this thing, and Harleymanjax and several other who have met me in person will tell you I am no different in person than I am on here..
The folk in Greeley know this too I tell it like it is and I can not stand a bunch of BullShat. So with that Said Lets move this Thread Back in the Positive direction it has been going...
Giants, meant no disrespect, chime in as much as you want, Hell I will even feel out your application if you would like We are hiring...

Oh As for the REGIONAL thing Hey Fox you thinking what I am thinking..... Tried this crap once before lol......
It seems our Regional "south east" is more of replacing the Pilgrims drivers who are now on our OTR Fleets, or running Regional also.... Just my 2 cents....
Regional is not for me, I liek running out of hours every 6 days lol When I get empty in KC Thursday I have to take a 34 due to the 3860 miles since Saturday....
Harleyman, Wholly crap dude Mason OH, Is Boring as all hell and I am at the Heinz Plant here.... -
LOL 3800 miles which saturday are you talking about 20 or the 13th either you were doing 760miles a day in a suped up chicken truck on elogs . Sitting in Barstow at the Pilot off the interstate. 115 out. the reffer on trailer is working double time to keep up, -10 set point, would love to sit in there for about 10-15 min. A/C in tractor doing well, after i put in the DEF. Just kidding. gotta make fun of some of the post. not to hurt fellings. I was in the Greeley terminal getting the approval for my passenger, a driver called in to find out what pin hole to set trailer for Califorina...(ok), 6 hole back and check weight.
As for pta's, when in doubt, qualcomm it out, send a message to dm, see if a repower/relay is possible. done a few on both ends, if we need to get the product there, we need to work as a complete team. sometime a driver is in the right area without the hours to deliver. not kiss ***, just stating the obvious. The Challenger and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
Thanx Doc,I will holla tom. My lack of miles I don't think is a jbs problem. I haul out of only 5 pilgrim plants-Lufkin, nacogdoches, natchitoches, pittsburg, mt pleasant and dequeen ar. We only go as far as san antonio,I-35 up to dallas and down to houston. Somewhere in that triangle from 1 of those 5 plants is all I do. We give some runs away to outside carriers like KLLM to places that we sit to long, however, they do give away some loads that we need to keep to places that do unload us quick and have good miles-like natchitoches to san antonio. Has anybody seen or know or maybe been to our yard in san antonio and mc allen tx? I saw new kw at versicold dallas that said jbs carriers mcallen tx on it.... Whaaat? Thought I was seeing things that wernt there, flashbacks from my cowhaulin days!

You can keep the door closed all you want but you will not get over 670 to 680miles with a 65 mph truck. I normally can get 650 miles with 20 mins left to spare if I know a place has parking I'll go ahead and push it. You can do the miles if they give you the loads, but you will see more 1,000 mile loads that take 2 long to deliver or short trips that take to long to deliver. Just ask Harley he had the same runs I did coming out of fl and Ga, to AR. I unloaded a day early in fl. AT 1pm had eta set. Gave me a load 3hs later picking up the next day in jacksonville @2100 going to publix delivering at 1800. When I got the PP they didn't have time of delivery so I figured it would be a morning delivery then I got the bad news later that it was delivering at 1800. They had a good load pp on me picking up in Al going to texas but as I pulled in publix they changed my load to a load picking up the next night @ 2100 going to AR another 400 mile trip. So deadheaded to just north of dalton and sat and wait till 2000. Got there and it was drop and hook and load just got ready had a 5am apt in lil rock which was drop and hook as well. Figured that I would get a nice cali run out of AR like I did last time and thats why they are giving me the crappy loads to get me to good spot, and they pp on a 215 mile load to arlington that picked up that night @2000 and delivered @6 or 7am. I even had hrs o make it to dequeen but got on backroads and everbody wanted to do 55 so I found a wide spot and took my 10hr got up went to dequeen and changed my load again to a 2100 pu that went to dallas that didn't deliver to 11am. Which didn't get ready until 5pm the next day and was relayed thank God. The Load I was going to get out of Dallas was going to Louisville millard for a 2200 delivery that monday night. By the way the 2 short hauls were broker loads the one out of Fl and GA to AR. I guess its all about locatioin location location, but all these cats who think they will see 3,000 miles weekly like Doc does is dreaming. Oh Delivered load last night which wasn't suppose to deliver till this morning still no pp, and I'm sure if I get one it won't pick up till Tmrw. Will keep you informed. Yes you can be blessed with some good runs from time to time, but the majority of the time you letting grass grow under neath your trailer. But that's trucking
