Thank you Mr. Harley. I've noticed you have had alot of weight issues I have had a few, but never had to get it reworked easier going around the scales most of the time.

What are some of the weights you have been getting loaded with I very ever see a load over 38g out of a chicken plant and I can normally not have to weigh if its not over 40. I hear they KW's are heavier. I can deal with this pete a few more years then having to deal with weight issues. Last company I had bought me a Coronado and we hauled out of the beef plants and I would always be pushing the limits or going over..

Just asking to see if these weights on these chicken loads are alittle off I don't normally scale if its not over 40,000

1st let me warn you now.....if jbs finds out you run around scales and run anything over weight you will be fired.....they dont mess around ....thats the type B.S. that got us in trouble a few yrs ago....as for the diffrence in the petes and K.W.'s...its around 200 lbs....not a big deal...45K is the max a K.W. can load...the petes a little more.....

    Hazmat,
If the best you can do it 660-670 in 11 hours, that is in my opinion close but no cigar,
best day in a 65 mph truck 703 miles, 11 hours NON Stop,if you doubt me Call fleet 620 on Sunday and talk to D douglas he has no reason to tell you any different and not to brag but 4200 miles in 7 days is very obtainable with no issue, that is a 600 mile per day average, 6 days at 650 average is pretty easy,

But When I left on the 20th at 0500 from Poquoson, Va DH to Catawba SC (436 pd miles) then deliver in Carrollton TX 0800 Monday the 22nd ( 1146 miles PD) Pickup Dallas Texas 11:00 Monday 22 (21miles DH) Deliver Cleveland oh 0530 Wed 24th (1182 miles Pd) Pickup Wed 24th Mason OH at 1700 (229 Miles DH) Deliver Shawnee KS on Friday the 26th at 10:00 636 miles Pd total is actually 3650 Paid Miles So I was off 150 miles and it is the 6th Day I have 6 hours left on my 70 and I am taking a 34 as I do not pick up squat until Saturday at Midnight,
So no it is not impossible to Run 3800 miles in that time especially since I have been in Oakgrove since lunch on Thursday I had to go and deliver this AM 50 miles away and now I am back I could have easily run another 600 miles today if I had the load and that would have put me at 4200 miles with no issue in 6 days, there are 14 hours you can drive in 24, Drive 11, take ten you have 3 more hours to run in that 24..

Not to be insulting Hazmat, but have you read the entire thread, especially the part where I put about me writing a "Help guide on how to make money at JBS" I did not write this to be arrogant, But I have sat in meeting with the management to discuss what I do different than other drivers as I have routinely taken checks home in excess of 2800.00 with no problems.
As far as I know right now in a 65mph truck and when they were 68 I have the longest miles run in 24 hours, and in 7 days not to brag or be over zealous most would have a hard time holding a candle to me when I have to push a long day out, I do not stop at all, for nothing I fuel at the end of my day or the first part, I typically run my 11 straight. Before I run a trip I can tell you where I will be every day withing 10 miles, I run times that will allow me to meet the least amount of traffic, and in the event of road closure's I run backroads ( more than most do normally comes from having been a cow hauler).

I learned a long time ago that make your money during the good months when winter hits, I get slowed down on the miles unless I am running the south a lot.

If you email me I will send you the little guide I wrote,
Senority has nothing to do with it lol,
3 weeks ago I was ready to kill a DM thank god for Vacation pay that period or I would have been screwed and made less than normal. ...
But I do ride the hell out of my DM'sno question about that Sir.
It is funny I wrote the PDF file and now it is STANDARD that all New Hires get it when they get their handbooks.
It works for me, but most will tell you my short little ### is like a PITBULL with Dispatch I ride them like a Broken bicycle in the hood.
And Just one Drop and hook last Saturday I dropped an empty at Catawba and picked up this turd I have now.

I saw that on Google Maps. It is right around the corner from my drop. Looks like the place to squat for the night. Thanks to all for helping out an FNG.

I turned on the XM in my KW and the reception sucks. It is almost like there isn't an antenna. It will go several mins without a signal without any obvious obstructions to the south. Anyone else have this problem?
