Is a carrier legally able to delay payment of child support to the respective county or state, until you put in enough miles to cover that payment each month?

Then realize that they withhold from your earnings, not pay child support up front.harleymanjax, Tazz and mtnMoma Thank this. -
If an employer is withholding child support from your paycheck, that means you have had enough miles for that pay period to get a check. Thing is, most employers require a court order for them to even withhold support payments.

It is ALWAYS the OBLIGOR'S responsibility to ensure his/her child support obligation is met!
The Court does not give a rodent's rear end how it is paid, or how much (or how little) is left over for you to live on.
My employer deducts the maximum amount of money allowed by law (66% I believe), It does not pay my court ordered amount. (I used to make alot more money than I am now.) So every week I have to write the EX an additional check for the difference.
It sucks but they are my children and therefore my responsibility. I just wish I could get the court to review my case.
Furthermore, my employer has to make only one payment a month, withholding the proper amount out of each paycheck. Also, the employer can deduct an additional 2% fee to pay any expenses as a result of sending my support money to the state.Erick chapel Thanks this. -
Then something fishy is a float the river creek..

Re-read my post. When the support order was determined (by our combined income) I made a great deal more money. I have since changed jobs and make a considerably less.
