I'm curious as to what the Old West company supplied housing is like around Dickinson, ND. My sis is applying to work for them and doesn't want to end up in a flea/roach/bedbug filled dump. Also, how are the female drivers treated...she will be hauling water. She's about 5' and 130 pounds...will this job be difficult for her? Is there transportation from the job site to the housing or are you on your own to get to and from housing/work? Any other little tidbits appreciated. Thanks to any all.
Stay safe!
So you want to haul crude oil in the badlands of ND?

pyros is probably with T&R water out of Crosby.

Possibly T&R. T&R does pay really well...I thought about working for them...probably should have. I think there's another company hauling water closer to Williston on highway 85 though, like right around the 29 mile corner. There are so many water haulers around here that it's kinda hard to know anyway...

How does the frac sand hauling jobs pay? I'm a owner operator with own trailer. Well very soon own trailer. And can anyone give some company names and locations? Thanks a lot in advance.

I'm Going to NODAK for the first time, I've been all around that country but I've never been there, We have 2 Double bottoms working out there, I have a few others We've helped set up out there, I am going to visit them and see how they are working out, I'm also going to see some guys about setting up a few more. Meeting some of the Leasers, Drivers, etc... Should be pretty interesting, My friend has a cousin out there that just bought 2 Winch trucks, I want to do a ride along with him if I can, as well as a run in the Double Bottoms, I've heard the stories, seen the pictures and video's, now it's time to see, taste and smell the Badlands for myself.

mark2842 almost any oilfield job pays way better than any highway job ever did or will. frac hauling can be very decent, but not sure of American rates

I am heading up to Tioga ND next friday. Gonna pull a belly dump for the rest of the year. First time up there so any advice for that area would be great. Little nervous after hearing stories but looking forward to banking some money before the end of the year.
