They go through OKC all the time. If you want to stop in OKC, see about getting on curtainside... They delivere doors down there all the time.....

Thanks, Unka_D. It's that kind of information and help from current drivers that makes me know I am making the right decision.

I went through Oklahoma City last summer on a trip as I made my way to Paul's Valley.

The kid who made the comment at the time had no money and from what I understand was begging a few bucks a day just to eat out of the vending machine at night. I think your a little insensitive with your comment. We may not live in Ethiopa but some people still have a hard time feeding themselves in this country.

My comments obviously did offend you. I would say, however, that every driver academy website I've seen has made mention about how much the ordeal would cost. A new student has all the information needed. It's all about going into a new experience with ones eyes open and being responsible for ones own actions. The rest of us aren't independently wealthy, either.

I can't say this and make it sound ok even to me but here it goes. Roehl has a trucking company, a trucking school, a brokerage, and an insurance company. Which one of these would lead anyone to believe that they would be fed while in school? Orientation is different day one you are a roehl employee and they give you lunch because well its a nice thing to do. I'm sure they could serve meals for the students, if they jack the price up for the school to about 5 grand. Feeding a small group of ppl 2 or three days a week isn't that big a deal. Come on we are talking about a company that dosnt have free coffee at its terminals because "we spent too much money on it last year" lmao

And I don't think we can label that as a complaint as much as it is an unrealistic expectation. I know it wasn't you festus, but it seems like a little kid, lol. But daddy my buddy got a bicycle why can't I have one!

To jump in on the comment made about the food thing back on page 3. I felt as tho they could have fed students more than one lunch. You had orientation guys getting 3 meals a day. Us students received lunch on the last two days. It may have been only once. Not saying more then that, but just seemed it could be done. At least lunch. I don't know maybe I am just more considerate of a perspective employee.

There are company's that offer meals with their training if it is really that big of a deal to someone then they should have went to one of them. I understand it would be a nice jester but if someone really expected it, Maby they are barking up the wrong tree.
