WH I had inconclusive drug test issues but got the all clear today and I start monday morning. My old boss wanted me to service his trucks so I did that this week.
wheathauler Thanks this. -
Just wanted to report things are slow here, ive been sitting at home all this week, there are a few hauls i called on but they were so cheap it made me furious at the broker for even offering me a price like that. Things here are also really dry, most think the losses on corn are between 40 to 70 percent. All of my pastures are just about burnt up, gonna be feeding my cattle hay in another 15 days if it doesnt rain. The soybeans have lots of pods but there flat and havent filled at all. Well so much for all the complaining, maybe ill have something good to talk about before too long.
wheathauler and Big John Thank this. -
We are singing the same tune Big Mike. I got tires rotated yesterday and Monday will get the truck aligned. Getting ready for the not so big fall harvest.
BIGMIKE1 Thanks this. -
Same here. Our corn should do ok but many around us don't look so good.
Huge pods on the beans in most of the fields but without some more rain the yeilds are going to be low.BIGMIKE1 Thanks this. -
We've lost corn, peanuts, looks like soy,and no rain soon cotton. Folks might haul to GA, but we #### sure ain't going to be hauling much out. Gods speed to all. Just remember no matter were ya go, there you are.

Dang its kinda quiet on here. wheathauler you busy counting your money. Highside must be busy polishing his ride. hehehehe. Had to get us back to top almost was on page two.lol Hows work for everyone, you guys staying busy. My family started harvesting wet corn in sw ks. Its not good at all. All the dryland corn, milo, beans are gone. They cut some corn for silage tryn to get some revenue. Theye got a thousand acres of corn its 50% gone. The irrigated what they have cut so far is only yielding 120 to 140. Last years crop averaged 200 to 250. Not lookn good.

Busy hauling rock, if these rock quarries were open 7 days a week I think we would be working but we are running 6 days. I have a new trailer ordered and should be here in within the next two weeks, this one will have air ride. The dislike is I can't keep my truck clean but I have to give it a bath this weekend I just can't stand it anymore.
