My journey with Swift begins tomorrow!

I left last Mon after going to the DMV and getting my cdl. I will be back next mon for orientation. I'm excited but nervous about orientation. My previous work experience is less than stellar.

 

I do not think that they are that worried about your work experience. Driving record and/or criminal record is another thing entirely.

 

You SHOULD be okay as long as you are totally honest. Do not leave anything out or misrepresent. My take on what I've read on these forums is that folks leave stuff out thinking that an employer won't find it. They always do, then the job is done. Do it enough and it will show up on your DAC report. Not good.

 

I have no criminal history, not even a traffic ticket. My work history dates are kinda fuzzy so I just kinda guessed. I even tried to call some places and they have since closed down or didn't have my file because it had been too long. As far as the last 2 years I'm ok but anything prior to that and it's fuzzy. It seemed they wanted me to go back 10 years, I did what most 20 yr olds do and job hopped.

 

The 10-year work history is a DOT regulation.
