    Just spoke with WSE and I'm not in their hiring area. I tried calling watkins shepard but they didn't answer so ill try again later.

    How do I apply for the WIA? I think I want to go with schnider I went n checked out some threads in there DAC report. I like there home time options and they don't sound that bad. I have to start some where and get exp. I want to try and apply for the WIA and just go to a school there is a good amount of decent cdl schools.

    I applied through my state employment agency when I went in to ask some questions about my unemployment benefits.

    Im on unemployment now but it runs out in a couple weeks. Is it hard to get approved for WIA?

    WIA goes by your household I come for the last 3 months, I live in IL and it was $7000 for the household income, I was on unemployment and just got it within dollars. But I have 4 kids and gf with a income.

    And just gotta pass a 8th grade math and English test and your approved pretty easy I just finished 3 weeks ago and head to Swift Sunday for orientation.

    It wasn't hard at all for me. I just had to fill out the application, and a couple days later, I got a phone call telling me I qualified.

    That's Idaho, though. I've read where other states really require you to jump through the hoops.

    You'll never know unless you go and ask them though. You got nothing to lose.

    Every state is different as far as WIA goes Ny will only give $4000 for CDL
