    I am now at the Campus Inn, my orientation starts Tuesday. Tomorrow is physical in the AM and some practice written tests on my laptop. If you'll be here it would be nice to meet you. Let me know. I'll PM you my cell if you want it.

    i kept my permit. the only switch is your CDL when you pass the test I am from FL and wen through a few weeks ago painless

    who gives the state cdl road test at prime? i know crst's school trainers give the actual road/skills test and am wondering if prime is the same way?

    the recruiter at prime tells me if i get my cdl permit here in new york, i can test in missouri then return home and convert my missouri license back to ny. how can that be? i thought you had to take the permit in the same state your taking the road/skills test?

    The recruiter is correct. You may go to Prime with an out of state permit. Once you obtain a Missouri CDL (pass your skills test) you surrender your NY license (because it is illegal to have two licenses at the same time). Then you need to go back to NY within 30 days to transfer your MO license to a NY license.
