We don't call 'em MASSholes for nuthin' up here.
& the only difference about CT is that the Kennedys don't own it yet.

Miami has some horrible drivers too... like all of um. Someone needs to learn um what the petals beside the gas pedal is for. BRAKE!!!!
-
Here's what I've noticed: The larger the city, the worse the drivers. Those of from out of town just shake our heads, toss out a prayer, grip the wheel, and enter the fray.

Just an update on testing. Thought I was on the way to a "trifecta" today. Got 47 of 48 on pretrip (forgot to mention the fire extinguisher should be secured.....duh!), did a great straight back (no whistles), and did an even better offset (no whistles or pull ups-backed it right in on the first try!). Then we get to parallel parking.......... Everything was going perfectly; trailer in the box just right with plenty of room. Then I cut the wheel too early and the mudflap on the tractor poked out the box. Tried to fix that and hit a cone in front! Used my 2 GOALs plus one and 4 pull ups (only to end up in the same position each time!). I guess I was saving all the whistleblowing for this maneuver...... Well that ended my thoughts of a trifecta (could have used that $250 bonus); but not my goal of getting my CDL. I will be back out there tomorrow morning to try again....

keep trying. At least you did not hit a curb like I did. Bone headed way to ruin a trifecta on my part
-
But worry DTM u got it d parallel was d hardest for me but d day b4 I tested it clicked but sounds to me like u got
-
Did the same thing DTM don't worry, tommorow you'll nail it

My husband did the same thing. Thought he was good to go, passed the pre-trip and backing with no problems at all. Was sure he was on the way to a trifecta with the driving the last thing to do. But no such luck because he bumped a curb. Never did it before and hasn't done it since. He was so bummed!!!!

Well I failed my backing test on Monday for the second time...timed out on the offset which I had done perfectly on the day before. But I guess the third time was the charm! I passed it today and then went on to pass the road test. I will be an official Prime employee by tomorrow afternoon (waiting on hard copy of my GA license to get to Campus Inn by express mail so I can surrender it to Missouri DMV). I want to thank everyone for all the info and encouragement. And I want to thank Seebs again for the help with the pretrip so I could knock it out on the first try.
Seebs Thanks this. -
Congrats & ill c u on d road someday
