Dedicated runs are things that no one talks about at this company, from what I understand of it theres actually a small division of drivers for that position. However how you get on it is the sketchy part, I was told by my FM that theres actually a group of people in Cedar Rapids that hires individial drivers into their ranks when someone is needed for a dedicated run.
Aside from that, good luck getting into one.

Heh heh......do your homework a little better next time, driver.
Sketchy? Ummmm.......sketchy if you haven't done any research perhaps.
CRST Dedicated Services is A SEPARATE (but, oh so connected) ENTITY. Ever notice the Eldridge, Iowa as opposed to the gloried Cedar Rapids, Iowa plating on the doors?
Why not apply to CRST Dedicated Services, Eldridge, Iowa? Now, that's not too sketchy. Is it?
Research further before typing one's self in to a corner...trucker-san.
Many folks are relying on credible information here.
Hammer down, Bandit.
(btw....if you score a Dedicated run from CRST Dedicated.......your pay will shift to the great folks down in Alabama. At that point our vaunted G/MAN can help you out
)

Thank you for that info, but keep in mind that if you want to go to any other division of CRST besides Expedited, you have to quit Expedited for at least 90 days and be considered "rehireable" at the time of your quitting to be hired on.
-
Huh? Ummm.....first I had heard of that. Care to give me the name of the sage dispensing such information?
Unless maybe...................
You are under contract to Expedited......and quit (while still under a contractual obligation). And then expect (like I expect to wake up a millionaire) to be hired on to Dedicated Services. Not gonna happen paisan.
Were you more interested in learning about getting on to a dedicated account within Expedited? Not a problem. Just let me know.
..........they called me Con-Way majortom. or was that Fed-Ex, or was that UPS, or was that R&L, or was that SAIA, or was that Bullet, or was that Pilot Air, or Comet.........Kitty Hawk at one time. It's all a blur anymore. Actually, it was then too.....................
Ask away young man! (mostly though, good luck and hang in there

If your wife has never driven start her practicing on the shifting NOW, downshifting was my sore spot and I was cut from CRST IA. CRST has a very fast paced program and if you don't get it your done. Good Luck Guys !

So if I go to CRST expedited, I can't switch over to the dedicated division?
-

anyone can score on a dedicated run bro. Just have to find a dispatcher that does those accounts. Start by asking your disparcher. I ran on a dedicated a couple yrs ago for R&L carriers. Lots of miles and all drop n hook.
