If it charges on AC, but will not charge on DC, then the DC cord is bad. It would stand to reason if it charges on AC then the TND is charging.

Call Customer support for a new DC cord.

The TND does not go by county lines. State lines. Did it pop up telling you that you entered into CA?

I am taking it that under main screen/truck tools/timers and logs, that you are talking about the state miles here?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    This is a TRAFFIC WARNING.

The Eastbound bridge on I-64 leaving New Albany,In. go into Louisville,Ky is closed till further notice(up to 6 months) for a crack in the frame. Traffic is directed to tale 265 N to I-65 S. This is causing a major traffic jam (2 to 4hrs) just getting back to I-64E.

This will be included in the construction updates via the TND Dock. Please be aware of this.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Can't recall if it advised me when I crossed into CA. The problem is that the MI marker doesn't work in CA. For example when going north on I-5 it will be at mi 2 and count up when I cross into Yolo county. It will reset to mi 1 when I cross into Glenn county and count up until I enter Tehama where it starts at 1 again. I believe it is the county line that resets it to 1 again. Regardless it doesn't work in California. I have not had this problem in any other state. I did call Rand and they are sending a new DC cord and an SD update card.

Will the map updates be available at truckstops where Rand products are sold?
