You forgot to mention the fact the company reports it and may/may not include it in DAC as a safety violation. REGARDLESS of the happenings.

the pilot is down the street from our yard. some one pull out in front of me just about every day
lot of traffic. no stop lights. after a while you gotta go
i come off the ramp one mornin and kid in a honda come over the overpass in the rain holdin that phone and flipping me off!
of course i stopped with trailer still in his lane. you shoulda seen him drop that phone and start sawing that steering wheel!!
he got it stopped and he must not have got my truck ##
yea i know bad driver un pro etc etcdiesel_weasel Thanks this. -
So just because everyone here has had at least one run in with a 4 wheeler gives this Palmentere driver a free pass to run a stop sign? I believe that's what the OP stated.
I could start with the "what if"'s, but we could do that all day long. Fact of the matter is he broke the law, for whatever reason, ALMOST caused an accident, and someone at the company should hear of this. That is, unless you want him pulling in front of your wife and kids, or pulling in front of you, when you're grossing 75,000.....Red Sovine Thanks this. -
those semi trucks pull out in front of me all the time.
yes running stop sign is serious.
last couple years i constantly see dry vans and containers passing while crossing the line into my lane while holding cell phone on ear.
bunch of dirty fat drivers this industry is in bad shape yes i have a bad attitude -
There is not an excuse for blowing a stop sign. Yes, I do know what goes on inside a truck. Simple. It's a PITA to find the right gear without grrrrrrrrrrrinding it, for many drivers, and it's a PITA for them to go from a dead stop. Too bad. Stop means stop.
The four-wheeler: to quote Morgan Freeman..."You whine like a mule. You are still alive."lonewolf4ad Thanks this. -
A LEO see's the truck driver, he's going to get a ticket, a fine, some points here and there. But most likely will still have a job.
A phone call to a company is almost a sure termination. Many safety directors don't take call ins lightly. If you are going to get someone terminated, you need to make sure malice was involved and not just a mess up.bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
We get several call ins a week. Some drivers have gotten multiple calls on them and theyre still driving for us.
-
Well, we already know this person is determined to get a reaction out of the company, so I'm sure, if they took her seriously, he's probably already filed for unemployment.

totally uncalled for

Stormey sounds like a complete pain in the ###!
Trust me Stormey; as many times (and methods) you have used to contact Palmentere Bros.....THEY GOT YOUR MESSAGE!!!
They probably were about to get back to you....but by the time they picked up the phone to call you, they got 3 messages, 5 e-mails, 14 faxes, and a telegram deliverd on horseback. And said #### this guy!diesel_weasel and Meltom Thank this.
