Just straight truck experience? My guess is they will want you to go through the entire training program.

If i was to send in an application to prime school, and they accepted my app, that would mean they have already checked background,driving record and job history and if i pass the school portion that means i go to train with a trainer, then on to solo right?

 

Background checks aren't done till you get there. Driving record, too, I think. I think they check your job history before they give you a school date and ticket. The "school" portion is 4 days to get your permit, and some pad work (pretty sure), then you go out w/ the first trainer for a specific amount of driving. Back to SpringMO for CDL testing, then out w/ trainer 2 for 30k miles. (It's 40K if you show up w/ brand new CDL)

I understand what you are saying, but the way they do it is wrong. So if my job history is acceptable they give me a school date and ticket. Then once i am in school and they find out something they don't like on my app. even though i put every conviction,traffic violation already on there, then they send me home,that's just wrong. It would be better to let me know before i have to owe money for school i can't afford. So if they see something they don't like would they send me home without owing a school bill? i will go then.

 

No you don't underdstand what they are saying.

They do a preliminary check before you arrive as a prehire.
The detailed report is there the day you start.
If it don't jive to there liking, you are gone before you start the school.
Fail the drug test. You'll be gone within the next day or two.

All students are given one week out with instructors to decide if trucking ain't for them. free and clear no repay. After that you are stuck with the whole until 6 months after getting the CDL. Half the bill between 6 months and 12 months. Free and clear after the 12 month mark.
