I had the pleasure of spending some time on the phone with Sandy Steffke in recruiting today. We seemed to have put together a long term plan for me...since I will be busy through April with the indoor racing season.
My training at Sage will begin in May, and hopefully will be in Conover by July.
Hope you guys don't mind me hanging out here in the forums with y'all over the next several months while I wrap-up the gig I'm at right now. I should be part of the Watkins Shepard team by the end of next summer.
Any questions from prospects or lookers from real Watkins and Shepard drivers?

I am starting to get good at backing and driving in the city I have one more backing skill to do which is the 90 or ally dock. I have got it in my head now that I have to pull out strait and then turn hard in what ever direction I need to turn got to go slow and smooth. And watch my tail end and turn back to center. Still have to decide who to drive for Watkins And Shepard seems like a good Idea compared to my wife saying to go Back to England I still have the certificate of passing The Orientation, but why should I pay to go there. ?? Other offers of possabile employment are Schneider National, US Xpress... Money needs to be in the bank.. I got my drivers License in Anchorage, Alaska , And Originally got My CDL in Southern CA I know that my DUI from 9 years Ago might be a problem but I have changed from 9 years ago and have learned that life is not perfect but trying to live is hard. past behind me I am No looking forward to making the bills and putting money into savings

Now it is my choice either Cr England or Watkins and Shepard Might have wife talk to Kristy in Recruiting before I decide My wife has been the one who wants me to go to Cr England but from what I have seen on CSA 2010 and it's record not too sure, also notice the Watkins and Shepard CSA score with only one mark for Vehicle Maintenance
Cr England has Unsafe Driving Driver Fitness Controlled Substances and Alcohol -
Save yourself the headache and go with W/S. There's a reason why there are so many anti England threads and it's not all pissin and moaning by disgruntled drivers. -
So far I need to make money to pay bills. And I have been a safe driver, I do not follow to close to other drivers and I check my Mirrors for those crazy cars, IE "that like to be in my blind spot;" Longest run so far has been to rock springs Wyoming while driving a asphalt slurry Class B Truck I remember a trucker cutting me off while going slow into scales in to Utah. Have learn to hear the Engine to down shift and to Keep in my lane But some times like to ride the white line. My health is good and I am a little over weight at 5'9 and 210 lbs I ride my Bicycle to CDL Traing Center in Ogden Ut from home in west Ogden, And I do not use drugs or Alcohol. Got to see if my TSA screen comes back ok after I do My finger Prints then I will have my Hazmat
and will have all endorsements on my CDL. I did drive Bob tail to SLC and Back had to get the other Volvo Truck It has a 10 speed Eaton Fuller much tighter than the Rockwell. There was some light to Heavy traffic from slc to Ogden -
So with Watkins and Shepard just have to do pretrip and Post trip with a Daily Vehicle Inspection Report.
