Anyone ever have one of them pop and catch your knuckle? Hurts like hell! I can't believe with all the modern technology they haven't changed the set up for the brakes. I guess if it works then roll with it but it would be interesting to see some different set ups.

I believe if it aint broke, dont fix it. -
Got a point there! Of course if it were electronic then it would also need a sensor. We all know how that goes! Plus if it were electronic they would also link it through the qualcomm to the e-logs and now you have your dispatcher pushing your buttons! We all know how they love pushing our buttons!
the flying scotsman, dirtyrabbit, allniter and 3 others Thank this. -
Yea, but if it were electronic, I could find an app for my A phone?
I could set my brakes from the bar....
oops...restaurant. -
WOW!!! Emulsified just came up with the next million dollar idea! Idle control for your truck App. You can turn your truck on and off and also adjust the temp right from your phone. Maybe even an app that monitors your reefer.
The possibilities are endless..... -
Only problem is that for some drivers, moving from the sleeper to the dash to make the appropriate adjustment and returning to the sleeper is the only exercise they ever get!

Sledge hammerFatback Thanks this. -
Sounds smart at first, until a teenage hacker starts controlling your truck from his I-Phone. From that point on, you're living inside a video game.
Mario Bros, Trucking Edition.
More fun that an RC truck! -
I bought a Road Pro button pusher at Pilot for $29.95. It has the changeable tips to fit the tractor and trailer brakes. I just attach the tool to the button, grab my mini sledge, and give it a tap. Works great!
Mr Ed, 7122894003481 and Big Don Thank this.
