Ive done it, but never on purpose. We have Elogs. Only reason Ive gone over was trying to find a safe n legal place to park.

Really, some of us at 13 hours are more awake than you newbies at 6 hours. and most of you don't drive near 11 hours, you pull in a truck stop 3 hours before you have to to get a parking space. Now the gov wants to change back to driving 10 hours like they used to.

Because of nonsense like this it is going to get to the point where every delivery in this country is going to be late, by a day or more. You may not think that affects you, but if your truck breaks down and your waiting for parts, oh well, maybe the driver will get them here next week.

Doesnt make it anymore legal... And you dont know how I drive... Ive driven the full 11 hours w/o stopping more than once, at night. Im a NIGHT driver. I might have less experience, but I know my limits. Ive 11 hours after bein up over 24 straight. So DONT pretend to know who I am, or how I drive.

I never said I agreed with the laws, never mentioned anything about that. Its still illegal to drive over 11 hours in 24 hours.

I generally trip plan for a stop somewhere in my 10th hour because you never know when that parking lot is going to be full or maybe you hit traffic. Pull in at hour 11 and find no parking and have to drive on and you are in violation because you should have planned better.

This was on my trainers truck. I drove til he said stop. Im not with a flatbed trainer. I plan on driving 8.75 hours, or there abouts. Depends on how much time I have. Flatbed is not in nearly the hurry that reefer is, atleast here. We were running team, parking was not a problem because we never parked the truck. That truck rolled almost continuously. When we were low on hours, we usually just headed for the yard n one of us would take our 34 there. The other would get his later. We never had to sit because we were out of hours
