I've stopped @ the PETRO in Joplin, mO off of I44& Hwy 43. It was just remodeled 7 I was wondering if all PETROs were redone, or just certain locations?
I've seen a few other PETROs over the years & some were 'questionable'.....
Just wondering if they were trying for a different image, etc.?

didn't it have to be after the tornado went through
-
Just Joplin Petro. I believe that particular location (among a couple others) is a franchise of Iowa 80.
And no, the tornado didn't hit Petro. It hit Flying J IIRC. -
You are correct, the Petro was untouched. I know, I was there that day!
-
There are a few Petro's that are run by the Iowa 80 Corporation. Joplin is one of them. Another one that was done (rather nicely, I might add), was the Petro in Kenly, NC.

thats a nice one in nc with plenty of parking
-
The one near the 35, 35E/W split near Hillsboro, TX looks a little different from the road.
-
Isnt the one off of I-70 in MO MM like 35 or something just before Kansas City?
That Petro down there in Joplin is nice and they have a nice truck acc. area -
That one used to be Willie's Place. Owned by Willie Nelson. It went out of business earlier this year and Petro bought it.puncher Thanks this.

Aren't you glad you were there instead of at the Flyin' J? I have friends who live in Joplin, and they were fortunate as to the path, but it could easily have gone a different route...
