Really? I came thru your state with one of them, no one
said a word. In fact no one has ever said a word in any state.

I've hauled onions for years with out straps and never lost the first onion.

What? Those bags that were in my side box didnt really fall off. They were helped off.:biggrin_2559:
And I forgot about those 4 loads of loose unboxed watermelons I hauled two years ago. No straps or chains on them either. None of them jumped out either.:biggrin_25525:

    Injun Thanks this.

You know there's an idiot cop somewhere that would tell you to throw a chain over that stack of watermelons. Seems they only have enough room for a badge or common sense but not both.

I had one stop me in Delaware Ohio and said he was going to write me a ticket for having the rear flap open on a conestoga...........He really got mad when I told him he wasn't and laughed at him. When another officer informed him that a conestoga is considered a tarp and not a load bearing door and to leave me alone, he looked like a kid that just crapped his pants on the playground. The look of disappointment was awesome.:biggrin_2559:

I ran into a Ga. cop twice years ago while hauling watermelons and he kinda looked things over and said both times................Every thing looks good but I think your a couple melons over weight.
If there would have been a third time I was just gonna hand hand him a melon and tell him I was sorry for the overloading. :biggrin_25523:

By the way, have you ever seen what a drunk trucker can do in a steel mill? Just askin.:biggrin_25526:
