They have company drivers for all three divisions, Reefer, Tanker, and Flatbed. They have a lot of information on the website, and it could get a bit confusing.

No you aren't. There isn't any pressure to go lease. Lots of company drivers.

I agree their website had me thinking that was all they had. Guess Ill check everything now and look into calling the recruiter about pre-hire agreement.

I have another question: Is their only terminal in MO. ? You really stay out 4-6 weeks at a time?

Depends on whether you show up w/ a CDL or not. For JCW, who got his CDL and training at a school. Three day orientation, assigned a trainer, and out he went. 40k miles later, he's headed for upgrade. That's dispatched miles not driven miles.

There are other terminals, but PSD is run out of Springfield. That's OTR trucking.

Springfield MO, Pittston PA, Salt Lake City UT. Lesser sales offices with large vehicle parking lots around the country, and a large drop yard and dispatch office in Denver CO.

We're dispatched on the fly from wherever we empty out. Company drivers are out 3 weeks minimum, can take 4 days maximum at a stretch. You accrue 1 home day per week on the road. Every 125,000 miles you accrue a week of paid vacation.

Yeah... if you want to make some money, you need to be driving. You don't get paid if the wheels aren't turning.
