There was a poster that looked as if he was trying to be funny. He was posting about how to get in the industry and who to drive for. He made it look as if his English was super broken too.

Well,,,, I kinda didn't keep up with this "blog".... After 2 weeks out with trainer I solo'd out in Phx,,it was a good feeling getting called "driver" after 2 weeks of "trainee",,,,waiting to hear when and where a truck might be avaiable for me...Was originally gonna go 48, but after one night with a refer I changed my mind. I figure it's best to get a little experience under my belt before I am dead tired from lack of sleep due to that dang blasted thing starting at all hours,, lol,,,

Ahh, ain't it fun in the top bunk right next to that dreadful thing lol.:biggrin_2559:

I went W-11 partially for that reason,I also knew most all the Western highways already so I figured that would help while I polished my driving skills.
Good luck and be safe out there.

Doing refer out of phoenix is tough. Not a lot of refer freight for May goes through there.

Congratulations on making it. Now you get to make the "real" money. It's better than training pay :)

don't be afraid of going "48", a city is a city it doesn't get much worse than san fransisco.also you can make good time in the flat states
