Stay away from ROEHL!!

Nothing wrong with that...you'd be suprised at what we know.

 

Not every company is for everyone, i criticize them (Roehl) all the time lol.. I work for them, but overall its not bad at all. there is better and theres alot worse. and on the camera thing thats B.S. heck i only seen (myself) one company that actually has cams on their trucks. trucks are the same color as roehls lol. hell show me one mid to large comp. that cares or treats ALL their drivers the same and fair. and ill show u a mass flocking of drivers to that comp. cause none of them give a ####.

 

I understand what you mean. I just don't get it when people do this, its the first post shes made i guess is what made me not really believe what she had to say.

 

Cheryl, don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with a trucker wife. The whole post just screams of my husband complained to me about work so I'm gonna ##### about it too.

 

Maybe the hubby spent half his check on lizards and said Roehl didn't pay him all his miles hahahhaa... all the crap i talk one thing i can say is in 2 yrs my check / settlements has never been screwed up with them. has always been on the mark.

 

If everyone listened to all the hate post about companies, there would not be any companies left, they where not a good fit for the driver is all, maybe is next company will be a better fit

Man is trucking ever a big surprise for a lot of people. I believe the reality versus the initial idea that most people have about driving is so drastically different from expectations that they don't know how to handle it. It is so difficult at first. Finding things, trip planning, long hours etc.

 

I've been with Roehl for almost 8 months now. This is my first OTR job. I can honestly say that they have never told me anything that wasn't the truth. My paychecks have never been wrong. My FM keeps me running. I very rarely sit unless I'm on a 34. But, one of the guys I was in orientation with did have a camera in his truck that faced backwards. We met up in Marshfield and I saw it for myself. It was there from the previous driver who, from what I've heard, never could get a load where it needed to be on time.

I will still stand by my decision to go to work for Roehl. They are not perfect. No company is. But overall I am still very happy and wouldn't think of working for another "starter" company.
