What is this I hear about AZ and NM giving out tickets to trucks that are governed at 56-65? Is this for real or just more griping? FFE has governed all new trucks to 62. with CSA this could really be a bad thing. I am not in agreement with governing the trucks, but I understand why its done.
Rumor mill has it that AZ and NM possibly others are fighting this trend. So have you ever seen it or experienced it?

What would they ticket them for, minimum speed is 45/50 isn't it?
THBatMan8 Thanks this. -
Why would they ticket governed trucks? Cant see where a truck doing 5-10 mph under the speed limit is that big of a deal.

you get a 3 wide drag race going and you'll see why

13mph is getting into the obstructing traffic zone. AT I call it the slowest drag races in history.

Ticketing governed trucks? Urban legend making the rounds again... Been listening to that same story for two decades now.

Road hazard IMO!

It's a lie. I live in Kingman. I run to Albq and back to Kingman all the time. Trucks gov at 62. Never had any issues. We run the hell out of that lane with over 20 to 40 drivers daily. Never heard of tickets for that speed.
Conservative to the Bone.GasHauler Thanks this. -
