OTRwife2009; I wouldnt recommend any lease/purchase and when I was leased to Tango there was a lot of drivers that fell into this Quality Trap and I heard alot about the $100 and $300 checks not to include when and if they finish the lease they will have paid over $100K for a $40K truck

 

I have a friend that use to work for celadon as a company driver. From what he told me. quality leasing is owned by celadon. and from what i understand. the trucks are junk! the mechanics at the celadon terminal don't know how to work on them. and celadon won't pay to fix them right.

 

I believe forward Air as well

 

MedicineMan what kind of truck did you get from lonemountain truck sale? Are the trucks in pretty decent shape? Any major issue with them at all?

I just recently leased a truck from them. Here is what to expect. Trucks arent always available. Be prepared to stay there in a hotel 3-5 days. Trucks range from Columbias to Century's. If youre lucky,like i was, i got a '07 Kenworth T600. However, should you decide you dont like working for the company you chose, you can change but the only option the will give you is Celadon trucking (########), or Forward Air (no pay). This company is a sister company of Celadon Trucking.

I thinking about these guys. Do you have to pull for either of the 5 companies they suggest. I want to go with landstar.
