The first mexican carrier has crossed into the USA at laredo tx. The first truck entered the U.S. this morning hauling industrial product. This is the only carrier aprooved by the FMCSA to engage in commerce within all 48 states. A second carrier is now applying for a permit to operate under the FMCSA authority. Will this have an impact on american trucking jobs?

I hope it doesn't have an impact but I fear it will. We all know how greedy these companies who's crap we haul around this country are. If they can find a cheaper way to do it, you bet your bippy they will.
Guess we can thank Obama for this. I thought he was suppose to be about CREATING American jobs. I loathe politicians. -
