so does this mean I can quit worrying about investing in a hearing aid before my next medical check?

Not unless they've already passed this. I wear hearing-aids, and the DOT medical hearing test is B.S. Nurse stands across room, places book over her mouth, then speaks something real softly. You're supposed to tell her what she said. I managed to pass it.

I can hear most things without my hearing-aids, but there are certain frequencies that I'm not able to hear.

With more and more drivers failing to speak or comprehend English, what the hell is the difference? They might as well be deaf....

Why NOT LET US DRIVE ? We can handle a truck just as good as most you Jack wagons maybe even better THANK YOU VERY MUCH . That as mean we can back it into a spot that you drivers who suppose to be able to buy between the yellow lines But i guess you need EARS to HEAR the tires crossing those yellow lines and not eyes i guess . you guys want to make cracks at being with a hearing lost would never know .But I will tell you this i walk the walls that most people feared i never did love that job -n- was working in a max prison just that me and a few high rank officers didn't like how i did thing. Those officers treat prisoners like baby's i didn"t . Looking to try and get back into in a differnt state this time . Just have wait for test scores. So ya trucking tough, so is walking the floors of death row and being hearing impaired. that"s all i have to say about this topic

With hearing aids on yes. Most people can"t see seem 15 " away let alone hear them I seen drivings driving 1/2 to 1 mile down the road before seeing an emergency vehicle in their mirrors and that's cars or trucks talk about being aware of their surroundings

I haven"t seen anybody hear an air leak while driving down the road cause if they did you wouldn"t see tire pieces all over the hyway or see one blow now would you?
