Ricky Dbl D there will be times you say to heck with the fuel route. Due to storms and picking up a meat load. You should never fill up all the way when picking up meat loads so you don't have to worry about over weight issue's. You can always fill up reefer fuel regardless of what computer say's. More then likely you will have to start paying for showers. Or using the shower when you fuel.
You have to not allow your fuel routing to turn you into a steering holder. The computer probably doesn't recognize mountainous terrain. In which you will use more fuel or windy day's or even bad weather such as ice storms. When You should fill up just in case power is out for a few day's and you can't fuel.
It also won't recognize i'm sure when you need to go 30+miles out of route to get trailer washout. Truly a sign this company wants steering wheel holders not truck drivers. What is next automatic transmissions.

Will not pay for showers, on what they pay newbe drivers, hell no. I understand the need to save money by trying different programs. As for the trade off?? We get paid by the mile, and if this fuel program starts to cut into that or cost more time. Change is good if it is looked at from all angles, drivers, load planners, Dms, drivers, will have to agree or come to a compromise workable solution. I know this is not set in stone, just a trial run. Just food for thought.

These things are not new. I had this 12 years ago with ROCOR transportation. I was left stranded out of diesel 2 times. You have to cover your butt bro. Or you will be on the side of the road waiting for road service, and or Freezing your butt off. Because you are waiting.
Or you can be waiting while your truck is being reloaded. Its mostly common sense. Mr Fire. Its from location to location. Not to Trailer washout. Not knowing about weather conditions. But if it is implemented. You will have to learn how to use it to your advantage. -

Mr. Fire you haven't posted in day's and that was the best you can do? Try again. -
Once people start running out of Diesel, and to many over weights. They will more then likely get rid of it.
One of the first things they told me in truck driving school. Is never trust the fuel gauge, and I still don't to this day. I set my mileage back to zero and go by that. I can't do that with the get 50 gals here 50 gals there junk. Do you really think I'm not going to fill up my truck all the way when a snow storm is coming. or is going to be under 20 degree's. Not on your life. Solar powered truck driver I may be. But steering holder. I don't think so.Scooby379 Thanks this. -

OK Mr all knowing FoxFire, educate me on this fuel program that you have knowledge of. I understand this program has to be tested and the bugs worked out, I am in no way stupid on how corporation work, I worked for a couple in a management position, some started programs by educating the workers before doing and some shoved it down thier throats. I would like to see the entire layout. Proactive instead of Reactive. Simple.
Hazmatt, you are correct, I do have a lot to learn about this trucking business.hazmat777 Thanks this. -
