They (safety) will change their mind quite regularly. When dispatch says they need more trucks out west then they hire as needed, especially when produce is running. Fill out the app then call.

To everyone that I met today at the terminal, I have to say it was my pleasure. Safe travels to all of you, and I hope we get to meet up again in the future!

At home for at least tonight yet. Truck is in the shop for a few things. Hopefully it'll be done tomorrow so I can run.

Yes. Only to run the west coast. We have a team that lives in SC that will run west 2-3 rounds then go home for a while. All our freight is out to the west coast and right back to the same 2 customers, either in Milton Pa or Rochester NY/Pottsville PA.

Chris (rookie), I left my cell phone in my truck and I'm too lazy to go get it. I'll get it tomorrow and give you a call.

My dad and me were thinking about teaming but all his experience is local (15 years) and I have been out here for only 4 months. Do you know what the minimum requirements are?

Well on paper it is 1 year. But they always make exceptions if there's a good reason. I do know of a few drivers here that ran local and got hired on. Give safety a call and ask for Mort or Brian. They will tell you if they can work with you.
