Oohhh. The truth comes out. He's been solo for maybe a month or two.

    At best.

6 Months is an exaggeration. He posted May 20th that he was getting on a bus to come to Springfield on Sunday (22nd). So he didn't start till the 24th for student orientation.

Couldn't possibly be solo for more than a month or two max

And only training pay all summer. Seriously, you know when you show up to SpringMo that you are gonna be out for a minimum of 6 weeks (if you are PSD) to get the required 30K. Say 2 weeks for C seat training, you are looking at August 1ish for solo, at an absolute earliest, and not particularly likely.

I'm not sure how he is getting such low miles, what I do know is that JCW scanned in 2185 for his first "real" week (11/04/11, pay). Would be more but the current dispatch picks up in OK tomorrow, and delivers in CT on Thursday. 1700 mile run.

He started right after I did..... the very next class. I started on the 17th.

I continue to be astounded by the number of applicants and new drivers who think they will "start" at the 36 cpm rate right out of orientation and are disappointed when their FM won't disrupt the entire system to get them home exactly when they want. Are they unable to read? Do they not listen in class and understand the trucking industry, even a little bit? How do they come to these conclusions?

    Amazing.

People hear what they want to hear, and see what they want to see.

Well not to stick up for this poster but even if he has only been solo for a month or 2 doesnt make it ok that he is only getting maybe 2k miles a week. Unless like some of you have said there is more to this story and he has problems that are causing his FM to limit the loads he is giving him.

The point WE are trying to make is that he can't have been solo for 2 months. It isn't possible. Also, his story doesn't ring true. PRIME didn't cause him to lose his house, his mortgage already had to be in default before he ever showed up. Training pay for students is spelled out. $600/wk AFTER you get your CDL. As soon as JCW got assigned his FM, he put in his hometime requests for the rest of the year. It's already been worked out. He didn't tell us the whole story, and what he did tell wasn't believable.
