    Still not Skeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrddd

Guess ill go back to work after spending the past 5 days at the house(Both of them, beach house that is) 3250 in 5.5 days,,,2950 in the past pay period, man im avg close to 3000 a week and can be home every weekend,,ELOGS are the least of my worries,,

Go ahead and try to explain how "WE" should be able to drive unlimited miles, plz do,,and all I ask you to think about,,,Ask your company for a raise,,go ahead, ask them,,,all they will do is give you more miles to run, make you work more to make more:biggrin_2559: Thats what they want YOU running more to make them more

I could care less how they want me to log, paper,ELOGS, its all about what they think you will do to make money,,,I find it comical that certain people on here(who are NOT on ELOGS) will try to debate ELOGS and they havent even been on them,,regardless its like trying to explain anything on here, you will get a "comment" from the unknowing,,so it goes,,,

If your not on ELOGS(yet) well more power to you,I am ,its not a big deal,,but if and when you want to debate 1st thing I ask you is to post your DOT# off the side of your truck and we can look at your companies status...Its just a matter of time,,,:clock:

I have a question. I drive 10 hrs, arrive at shipper/recvr....time to do 15 minute on duty post/pre trip log off duty/sleeper....

I pull into shipper/receiver early for my appt. They give me a dock but tell me they cant load/unload me till morning about 10 hrs later. I go into sleeper and awake to them loading/unloading me.

I don't start my on duty clock, if I leave the truck to go to bathroom or whatever I log off duty. I wait at dock off duty for next dispatch or get ready to take off for next trip, when ready to roll I do 15 minute pre/post trip and roll. Legal or not legal?

You would show some loading/unloading time before you start to roll.

And I dont think you need to switch to off duty from sleeper berth to take a leak!.................................:biggrin_25523:

I already told you I see the writing on the wall, and chances are I simply wont put up with it and will just leave the industry for good.

We all know its a Sh@t job to begin with, elogs is just one more device to control and spy on people, to make it harder and worse. You letting us all know where you work is your choice, me I do not need stalkers harassing me or my company, for the time being I am still making good money and getting good hometime, and that is all that matters.

Diesel_Wiesel,,,I cut it short as my screen went Black,as in my Dell disintegrated (screen) and I was on my way home, put Dell In shop and have been at my place on the Beach
I didnt Loose anything,I went home, its called hometime(Dont you take hometime???) they do let you go home right? I assume they would

Dude im not trying to convince you or anybody else of anything other than you can(if you plan& try) you can be productive with them

Speed of your truck does in no way equate into more miles(I already hear another "disagreement" there) as when we were CFI we had 70 mph trucks, just b4 we were bought out by Conway we went to 65(still on paper btw) and my miles nor my lifestyle,,hometime vs running, didnt change 1 iota,as in we still run 125-135,000 a year...Truck speed changed, miles didnt. So your "slowmobile" comment has no validity, nor does it offend me,im way past getting offended by other drivers

Okay I will meet you half way accept your argument in the sense that you dont want "someone Looking over your shoulder",, well they are, it just takes them longer to prove something, you can work as long as you want, drive whenever and how ever long you want and if that is what you like well then Drive-on Driver

No I dont know anything about your Company(seems like Ive ask you to post this a few times) So NO I dont know anything about your company other than what you have told us(So If you would care to post it,,,just a DOT# would suffice) other than that you know all about mine as I hide nothing
But here is the link, just input your DOT#(and share it wit the rest of us)

    http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/SMS/Default.aspx

Up until you actually own a truck, you have no skin in the game, andwell your still just a number, until you work by the hour and or salary, your still just a number, the more you work the more they make,oh they throw the crumbs your way but ill give you a lil math problem for you to contimplate,,Up for it?okay

your miles x your CPM= pay for the week(or time period)
Take Pay divide by 70= daily rate, then divide by 14= pay per hour, dont to so utterly surprised if it comes out to 8-10 per hour,,just sayin

I for one have been doing this long enough to learn, that less is more,Im a driver, not a mechanic, not a lumper,,just a driver,my miles havent changed only the shorter time between hometime, and if i have to run legal to make the same exact money as before well i guess im doing the ELOGS

ELOGS didnt ruin the industry,,DRIVERS did,can you not accept that?,but it was before your time,,you might want to Google ROadCheck 2011 and look at the numbers(and this was the safest year) LOL and yet
    http://www.truckinginfo.com/news/news-detail.asp?news_id=74130

ELOGS wont make a driver with bad habits any safer, just make it easier to get them off the road

Yes, you do. It's DOT/FMCSA policy that you log what you do and do what you log. If you log a 34 hour reset on line 2 continuously, you will get a log violation.

I just got my E-Logs going this week and I have to admit that it sucks for my dedicated run. My 11hrs driving leaves me 30min from the truck stop, so I have to shut down 1.25hrs earlier as that is the nearest spot, only 2 small places between the 2 with about 8 parking spots each and you know #### well that they will be taken at 10pm....... And now I'm 1hr away from my delivery and out of time again ( and I drove 70mph all day) but oh we'll, it all still pays the same lol
