That's because KIM'S the problem NOT J.B.S. Yes J.B.S. is responsible for placing qualified people into the positions and they seem to have a long way to go to correct their mistakes but I have heard from at least 6 different drivers that have KIM as their DM, FM whatever, that she's horrible!

I'm NOT a company cheerleader, I just don't have the same DM although my DM isn't much better. I run my truck like I'm a O/O and it works out well.

I change appointments, make appointments for service at KW, call the J.B.S. shops and schedule my services. I took it upon myself once I noticed and made sure that the incompetence in the office environment was real and rampant. Out of 3, now I think 4 people I deal with, the 2 ladies in the office are more professional then either one of the men, IE DM or GM.

They at least try to perform their jobs to the best of their abilities and they also will have a conversation with you on a more personal level.

What's this??? A DM might actually wanna get to know their drivers???? The horror!

Anyway, point is, be professional, piss off whomever you need to when you feel its appropriate just make sure you're correct and professional when doing it, and drive the truck as if its your own.

And by all means, (and I'm NOT advocating this for legality reasons ONLY) but if I were you and not as professional as myself, not insisting you're not as professional as me, simply stating if I were you I would not be as professional as me, then I would BLOW UP the Qualcomm with messages until they got the point.

But I'm professional me and don't do that or advocate going that just saying in a different world maybe.

Again, no cheerleading, simply professional, courteous, and completely SUPERTRUCKER material!

    ;-)

    NoCoCraig Thanks this.

Think DOC, FIREFOX, HARLEY, AND I should get together and show J.B.S. how to run the unsuccessful DMS, FMS, AND PLANNERS OUT OF TOWN, LOL!

On an unrelated note, did anybody else get the claim form for the class action suit against USIS/Hireright?

WE WON! Those scumbags settled out of court and I am getting a settlement, minimum of $135, maximum of $20,000!.................:biggrin_25521:

If you had filed a dispute with them about info on your DAC you are automatically in the class, depending on your dispute and damages they have different payouts.

In my case they falsely reported a FELONY conviction on me so I had to get a letter from the State of Kentucky showing that the indictment was DISMISSED!

Thier false report got me fired from Werner and kept me off the road for a year and a half so I'm thinkin I qualify for the maximum amount!................:biggrin_25525:

Just wanted to post something most probably do but incase you don't it would be a good thing to start doing IMHO.

Keep a small notebook (3x5) and when dispatched write down LD#, LD and DH miles, total miles and extra pay items.

When you submit and receive your settlements info over the Qualcomm you reference each LD# then MARK it off if everything is good.

Just a suggestion as twice now I've had to contact payroll. Once was me mixing up LD# while transferring to LD sheet, they paid me this week for that load but now I'm missing 495 miles as they didn't pay me for DH on a load.

Not their fault as original dispatch came across with 0 DH miles but then was changed after I stated to DM its a lot further then 0 miles from Blue Island, IL to Worthington, MN LOL!

YOU HAVE TO STAY ON TOP OF EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE IN THIS INDUSTRY BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T AND YOU GET SCREWED, IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

    LOL! :biggrin_2556:

Yeah, I had no prob going with a trainer. I'm sure any trainer would kick me off their truck in a week or two. Shouldn't take me more than 3-4 days to get my "sealegs" back. But to ad a refresher course on top of that..... well, that doesn't make me very happy.

I'm actually considering running with another company to get recent exp, then jumping ship to JBS (or anyone else that is better).
