Not all is lost... it keeps a backup in a hidden folder each time you update... let me know what OS you are running and I can give you the path...

I assume you mean the version on the TND? The latest the dock puts on whatever that is. If you mean my laptop , it is win7. -
If you are not computer savvy then either DieselBoss or I can remote in to your laptop and find the files for you.
Thanks,
Mark -
Location also.
510 should be 11.4.1968.
thanks,

I can find the file if you'll tell me what / where to look. Windows 7
-
Thank you,
Mark -
I am having a problem loading the docking software on my computer for my TND510. When I first tried it did not do anything. Finally resetting and trying again it showed connected. I retried reloading again and it says it cant do it because a version is already installed. Cant find a link. Can you help me. I am running windows 7 on my laptop. Other than this problem my unit works great.

Or
On your computer menu/control panel look for uninstall. It should be under Programs. Scroll down on the programs listed till you see the Rand McNally TND Dock and then click on it and add the top click on uninstall.
once uninstalled you can then go back to the TND and double click on SetUpTNDDock again.

It is a self installing file, but sometime as programs go it may get hung in the install process.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
Mark -
Got my ifta troubles ironed back out. Thanks Mark.
I don't think deleting the truck.db file and letting the dock rebuild it fixed it's issue though. I ran 504 miles yesterday and I know the TND had recorded up to 273 on the trip odometer at least but when I turned it on this morning to fill out my mileage envelope it only said I had run like 65 miles total yesterday. -
Oh, and those 65 miles were recorded in the ifta mileage area. The trip odometer which I clear every night was reading like 17 miles this morning and we didn't move.
