So i hear your wooden nickels have "seals for Christ on one side" and "prankster" on the other and you flip one in the morning, and play the role the rest of the day

I just merely stated the truth of what happened.... without giving every detail....everyone took the leap that I had quit. I think we are all conditioned to hear so much negative about trucking that the only logical explanation was that I quit!

Truck drivers are like a bunch of old women. We love to gossip, especially about each other. We're the only ones who can understand our language.:biggrin_2559:

Will be heading up to the truck later this evening....taking off at 0530 tomorrow morning headed to Lordstown to reserve lumber. Have a preplan to pick up about 15 miles from there. Steel bars heading to Mebane NC. Probably will go back to Moncure after that as it is only 50 miles from Mebane.
Hope everyone has a safe week!

I loved my new truck too, until it got it's first service at Madison Friday. the son of a ####### turned it down on me!
truck would run 65 all day long, pulled well, and the lowest average fuel milage up to that point was 7.15
now it has absolutely no power, will only pull to 62, and I've averaged 5.8 all day.

I've heard the same from other drivers and if i remember correctly as it was explained to me, "they dumped the memory" so although you were above the company goal before the "dump" now its just like the truck hasn't been driven at all. In order to get it to run 65 again, unfortunately you'll have to get the computer to recognize that you are above the company goal for MPG and it'll turn itself up. I'd suggest for ONE WEEK you drive 57-59 mph. After that week is done, there should be enough information in the trucks computer that it'll once again govern itself at 65.

Hey Jim, was glad to finally put a face to the name, the LEGEND, THE HUT!!! Thanks for the wooden nickel too. No electrical problems to report so far. Do you have to activate it from your lab or when one logs into the website is the mini EMP emitted?

btw, its a bit lighter than the coin i used to roll over the back of my fingers but it'll work.

P.S. used it on a scratch off lottery ticket. . . no luck so if you'd please activate that part of it from your lab when you get home, it'd be appreciated

P.P.S. I had no problem BACKING OUT of the parking spot next to you at the fort and just realized i didn't put in that attaboy for you as i said i would for your help so if you'd please give me your truck number, i'll do it monday.

My truck number is 12233. Don't know why you felt like you had to back out as I was not pulled up any further than anyone else on the lot. But I guess when all you have to do is sleep while your student drives, you are probably out of practice!:biggrin_2554:

I find it odd that everyone else that I have given my SEALS FOR CHRIST coins (not wooden nickle) to and explain to them what they are for, really seem to appreciate them and what the intention is...except for you and sewerman.....must be a black hat thing.
