from reading the forums, there are tons of companies that will take newbies. None of them are perfect, and what works for one person might not work for someone else. There is no one 'perfect' company to start out with, its just putting in the work and finding the company thats a right fit, that you can deal with it seems anyway :biggrin_255:

you can find good posts and bad posts on every company on this site, I've been looking for a while, but remember dont take everything as gospel. Every ones experiences are going to vary, I used the forums more to open my eyes so when something does happen, I'm not shocked. I am also a newbie lol so I have no experience with any of the companies but hoping to start in january. Good luck! just do some homework and read up, others have said there are more options than the big companies, but no ones going to throw those opportunities into your lap, takes some leg work :biggrin_25525:

The thing you have to remember is if your not happy at your company no one is forcing you to stay. The nice thing about the trucking industry is that there always looking for divers. I just started with prime after being out of the industry for three years and as of today, I'm pleased with the company. I have driven for the mom and pop trucking company in the past and nothing is different. Hurry up and pick up the load and deliver it. Do your due diligence and you can't go wrong.

What's nice about an industry where people are always quitting resulting in others being hired ?

People quite for various reasons, not just because they hate the company they work for. Also as many people have posted just because the company you work for not working for you doesn't mean the other person won't be happy. I have read on here time and time again the back and forth good, bad, etc....... If you really feel the you feel about the indusrty, my question is why you in it? You don't have to respond, because I'm not going to get into a debate about this. This post was posted on a question about good companies to work for. As I mentioned, do your due diligence.

The question was are there any good companies for NEWBIES . There may be a few but you won't find them recruiting at CDL mills . Nearly all good companies require a couple of years experience .
I'm in it because I work for one of the good companies .
