Wow! Where to after that? I am sitting at Millards in Louisville waiting on a preplan. I am 900 mi closer to Marshalltown.

 

No preplan. Was just dispatched to get out to iowa. I have to deliver a load of air to iowa. Guess they are running short on air.

I was supposed to be going home this weekend, had tickets to the race in Homestead!

Well they cant get me to Florida so I am stuck going to New Jersey!

JBS will be my last OTR job and my last day here is coming soon!

 

Dont know whats going on with JBS, I do know of 2 other drivers, who have been here for over a year, have quit. This company seems to say one thing, then does something totaly different. Got a preplan for 3 total stops, had 1st stop delivery time only, the 2nd & 3rd i didnt get until today, 1 day before delivery, hard as hell to set PTA. For all of the experienced drivers out there, is this how most of the trucking companies operate or similar too. I have also noticed not to many newbes with questions on here??????????? Writing on the wall??

 

That sucks Harley, I was out in Phoenix, I traveled out on 10 east, had almost every Nascar hauler pass me. Now that would be a great gig for a year.

 

Basically I was told we cant get you a broker load to Florida, we have to cover these JBS loads............so JBS loads are more important than a drivers hometime!

 

Ok then have a relay/repower with someone headed toward your home direction. Gotta be a jbs load headed to Florida.

 

too late now, had to give up my ticket so i didn't lose $150!

 

I have already applied elsewhere,shiny new 389 flattop pullin frac sand in a pneumatic-just waitin to hear back after they check my job references. Might be my last week here!

 

unfortunately....yes.........no cheerleading from me..seems they have lost there minds...come off a great pay period to one of the worst since I've been here....if it was not for this new dedicated thing I would be looking elsewhere
